Katy is the Chief Learning Officer at Resilient Futures and a senior member of our Facilitation team. Raised in London and based in Melbourne on lands of the Wurrundjeriand Bunurongpeoples of the Kulin nation, Katy is an accomplished leader of professional and adult learning, with extensive experience spearheading innovative learning programs and portfolio in commercial, higher education and non-profit settings. For the past decade, Katy has enjoyed influential senior leadership roles as Director/Chief Learning Officer with Pearson Australia, Deakin University, Adelaide University and ed-tech startup HEX.

A future-oriented holistic thinker with a love of empowering positive mindsets and behaviours, Katy is a credentialled CLO who specialises in creative direction and facilitation of collaborative experiences that create space for people to learn, practice and grow.

Katy holds a doctorate in English (Oxford) and a graduate diploma in Learning Sciences and Technology (Sydney). As an expert facilitator and coach, she is certified by the Institute executive Coaching and Leadership and Herrmann, and trained by providers including Melbourne Business School, Deloitte, and the Design Thinkers Academy London.

Katy’s leadership style has been described as energising and motivating, and she loves to see people growing in confidence and skill while pursuing their learning goals. At home, Katy is a proud mum to 2 blossoming teens and 3 energetic dogs. When she isn't practising or teaching yoga, she can usually be found enjoying an Agatha Christie novel or revisiting classic detective shows of the 1970s and beyond!
